Customer displays are mounted to the rear of a POS System allowing customers to view transactional data as it is being entered by the POS operator. This provides the customer with a sense of confidence knowing that the transaction is being registered correctly which also inturn gives the business owner an added layer of security against employee fraud.
There are fundamentally two types of Customer Display:

2 line Customer Display; which usually displays the last item registered (description and price) on the top line with the running sale sub-total on the second line.

LCD Customer Display; which usually displays the last 10 items (approximately) registered as well as the running sale sub-total. It can also display in-store promotions via rotating various images eg. bmp, jpg or movie files. These types of displays are commonly seen in modern day large supermarkets. Access POS offers retail hardened POS Monitors in two sizes, 10 and 15 inch.
